Representative

It isn't the over the top moments that make me smile with Tim. It's the small things that makes me blush. It's when he text me good night no matter how tried he is or when he comes over he always brings my favorite candy, Jolly Ranchers. Once he brought me every book one of my favorite authors had written. When I'm with him I feel like he's really listening and processing everything I say.

“So what's the problem?” Maya questioned.

“I don't know honestly. He's great and I like him a lot. But what if he turns out to be some crazy monster and the person that I'm dealing with now if just his representative.”

“You mean to tell me that you haven't seen him upset?” I could hear over the phone Maya drinking some of her Pepsi while waiting for my answer.

“Yes, I've seen him upset. No, I've never heard him yell or anything.” Tim isn't perfect by far but he has an incredible way of controlling his emotions especially with women. Hence, he grew up with two sisters and only his mother.

“I think Tim is who he is. Yes, he has secrets and so do you. Just because you're keeping secrets from him does that make you a bad person or even worst a bad girlfriend? I think that your trying to find something wrong with him so that you won't feel guilty about Hunter. When are you meeting Tim's mother again?”

“Next week.” I replied.

“See, you know your never going to get this far with Hunter but you want to unconsciously sabotage your relationship with Tim. Make him out to be the bad guy cause if your shit came out then you won't look so bad. Damn I'm good...” Laughing I shook my head. Agreeing with only 50% of what Maya said, I let her have her moment. “...Forget Dr. Phil, they should come to Dr. Maya.”

Something was bugging me about Tim and I wasn't sure what it was...
